As Fall quickly approaches, I highly encourage you to read these articles about synthetic vitamin C. https://www.nourishingdays.com/…/and-you-thought-that-was-…/

Vitamin C is one of the chief nutrients to help your immune system fight viruses and bacteria as the cold and flu season approaches, but the synthetic vitamin C that most people reach for does more harm than good.
Vitamin C has so many applications beyond cold and flu care. Living in the country I always keep lots of vitamin C on hand as it can also help combat poisonous snake and spider bites.
For inflammation I take vitamin C with Organic Turmeric and a pinch of black pepper (helps the turmeric absorb,) it’s a powerful anti inflammatory.
While I limit our family’s sugar intake, (including natural sugars like honey,) I do sometimes use honey for it’s medicinal benefits and make the following “candy” balls out of the vitamin C powder and raw local honey from untreated hives…
Simply put the vitamin C powder into a bowl and add enough honey until it forms into a dough. Pinch off little pieces and place on a parchment lined cookie sheet. Once filled freeze until firm, then put the vitamin C balls in a Tupperware or plastic baggie in the fridge.
